After being promoted into this role I became responsible for the day to day running of the Drawing Office. Key responsibilities include supervising Draughtspersons, managing projects, co-ordinating engineering change orders and maintaining company ISO 9001 Quality documents. I am responsible for evaluating, designing and developing educational hardware products from conception to manufacture. Through the design cycle I would complete 3D hardware simulations, 3D rapid-prototyping, generating mechanical and general assembly drawings, decal artworks, bill of materials, test to design specification and ISO 9001 conformity. I am also responsible for writing supporting documentation such as test schedules, risk assessments and user guides. I provide full support to sub-contractors, engineering, production and test departments.

Clayton was employed by LJ Create Ltd from July 1999 until May 2017 in the position of Design Draughtsman. During his 17 years with our company we have been delighted with Clayton’s performance and his work ethic. He has been asked to complete a wide range of tasks relating to the drawing and manufacturing implementation of electromechanical equipment. I have been particularly impressed with Clayton’s aptitude for innovative design and modelling of mechanical systems using Solid Works. He has applied immaculate attention to detail in running the drawing office to create and update production drawings and other documentation used by our production and test departments. His duties also included the creation and updating of product records held on our computerised stock control system and the creation and updating of controlled documents for the ISO9001 Quality System. We have yet to find a task at which he does not excel.
Clayton has been a delight to work with and has demonstrated the willingness and ability to take on substantial responsibility. He has always worked very well as part of a team. He has consistently displayed a loyalty and positive attitude towards the company, sometimes under quite challenging circumstances. Based upon his acquired knowledge and enthusiasm, Clayton has become the go-to person for all things technical.

I can confirm that I have known Clayton Moore for over 10 years and worked alongside him for five.
As an electronics engineer, I pass my final designs to the drawing office where Clayton creates the assembly diagrams and mechanical drawings. His role also involves adding product structures into our company wide ERP system requiring him to liaise with electronic development, mechanical development, production and purchasing departments.
Mistakes can prove costly, so accuracy and a high level of attention to detail are a pre-requisite in his role. Clayton has the right attributes to allow me to have confidence that he will complete the work I pass him diligently and effectively.
The company operates a ISO9001 quality system and Clayton works within the requirements of this system, but is equally at home using his initiative to problem solve. He is a good communicator, happy to participate in group meetings.
On a personal level, I have always found Clayton to be honest, approachable and conscientious.
